Painted Brick Chimney Re-Flash in West Michigan

This homeowner contacted one of the big name, roofing companies in town.

They came out set.

The roof could not be repaired but made an attempt at stopping the leak by applying some cock to a few different shingles.

Unfortunately their repair did nothing and the chimney Continue to leak.

I came out and provided a quote to stop the leak leaking permanently by removing the existing chimney, flashing and shingles from the cricket behind the chimney.

Properly installed new ice and water, shield underlayment, new shingles to the valley and cricket as well as new flashing with proper kick outs and proper counter flashing.

This repair took approximately six hours and cost $3,400.

The leaks are permanently resolved, and we extended the useful life of this roof in additional 10 years leak free.
