Two Skylights Replaced in West Michigan

Here’s an example of two skylights that were leaking and one that was leaking severely.

The previous homeowner added a second layer of shingles and chose not to replace the skylights nor make an attempt to ref flashing them.

We removed both skylights and the shingles around them all the way down to the roof deck, replacing all rotted and damaged wood with the new and installing two new Velux deck mounted skylights.

We permanently solve the leaking around the skylight.

This project took approximately seven hours and cost approximately $4,800.
