Call Stellar and the warm voice that answers is probably Alyssa's.
As Stellar's Head of Administration, Alyssa is the steady hand behind the company's daily operations: answering every call, scheduling appointments, coordinating inspections, keeping work orders moving, payroll accurate, and warranties processed. If working with Stellar feels effortless, it's because Alyssa is behind the scenes making sure of it. The way she describes the job says everything about how she does it: the crews get to focus on the roof, and the customers always feel taken care of.
She came to the trade by way of the classroom. A Grand Valley State University graduate with a degree in elementary education and English, Alyssa began her career as an elementary teacher, which turns out to be nearly perfect training for running the nerve center of a roofing company: organization, patience, and clear communication with everyone, all day. After becoming a mom, she joined Stellar in 2026 to build alongside her husband, Anders, Stellar's Head of Operations. In her words, getting to grow alongside him and be part of something they're building together has been a joy.
Ask what she's proud of and the answer isn't a number. It's knowing that every phone call, every schedule, and every warranty she handles helps a family feel a little more taken care of.

- Favorite part of the job?
- “The variety. No two days look the same.”
- Life outside Stellar?
- “Anders and I have two boys under two years old, who keep us on our toes! We spend every moment we can outside, at parks or in the water, and with our families, whether it's boating, sun basking, or dinner nights.”
- Favorite West Michigan spot?
- “We live in Zeeland but are Holland raised. A trip to Lake Michigan, Mt. Pisgah, or downtown Holland for a good bite is our favorite.”
- One thing you wish every homeowner knew?
- “It's okay to ask questions. Your roof protects your whole home, and you deserve to feel confident about it.”
